first, i've never seen an episode of Countdown, so my only recollection of Olbermann is from snippets on YouTube, etc. that being said, does he really talk in an almost overly dramatic Shakespearean manner? egads.

i think the McCain/Palin skit last night was much more funny than this clip.

--
[color:red] Kansas Jayhawks -- 2008 National Champions
Yes Olbermann is over dramatic and completely Bias and self absorb - mush like Lou Dobbs at lease Lou is more scaled back but still don't disagree with his views he will rip you a new arse hole if you did.

The skit was reflective of Olbermann - though a bit over done

"If it turns out that President Barack Obama can make a deal with the most intransigent, hard-line, unreasonable, totalitarian mullahs in the world but not with Republicans? Maybe he’s not the problem."
You've never seen an episode of Countdown, Sean? You- the arch-liberal of MM?

Seriouly though, you should check it out. I like it quite a lot. Tonight might be a good night to tune in, now that the McCain campaign is getting desperate (and really ugly) in the eleventh hour. It will be interesting to see if he has anything to say about the SNL skit too (which was dead on IMHO).
