So what if it comes out on Monday that either:

McCain reveals he has six months to live

or

Obama reveals he shot a man in Reno just to watch him die?

Kinda hosed if you've already voted. No takebacks.

Considering that many sates are now worried that the expected voter turnout on Tuesday may be so overwhelming that the systems might fail, I'm glad I voted yesterday. I also ran into an old friend that I hadn't seen in a while and we went to lunch after voting.

New Jersey won't allow,early voting,
...or I would have already done so.

[color:white].
[color:white]. ."Fool us thrice...and we get what we deserve."

What happens if those 2 facts are discovered on Nov 5 or 6th...

sure voting early COULD make a difference in committing votes before all facts are known or something new happens, but not a huge one... esp since MOST have Not voted yet. They might switch their votes with that kind of news.

I thought that in the case of Ted Stevens... will his conviction change many votes ? It should, but I can see many hard line conservatives thinking he was framed... so who knows...

David (OFI)
Well the BBQ and some other pieces of furniture looked like a frame up and I am not a hard line conservative , then the 250K of other stuff showed up - whoa holy cow whats going on

Then you have that other senator stuffing money in her bra - gheees

You would also have to weight the likelihood of something happening that would make you want to take back your vote. In the case of this election, that's pretty slim for me. Although in the interests of full disclosure, I did not vote early. I like the idea of making the civic pilgrimage the day of even if it's a total pain on the 4th.

-- Cee Bee Double-U
