None of the above. I don't make $250,000 (not even in 10 years, now), so I'll have a savings (household) of slightly over $1,000. I don't drive a Volvo. It's an 18.5 year old Isuzu pickup that was made in Indiana. I don't drink latte; I prefer Cappuccino on very rare occasions. WTF are Crocs? If there's a weekend job at DQ, I need that just to pay my bills. Obama is only taxing Joe The Plumber He's not even taxing Joe, or whatever his name is today. And, no. I can't vote for McLame and live with myself.

In reply to:

Obama: Increase NIH spending in four years (this greases the wheels of my livelihood.)

NIH's decrease in funding has caused great grief in our world. my wife and i have a current NIH grant and we've had at least one NIH grant since 2000 (on our 3rd). the grants we get go through a small business in Kansas. this business has multiple people with NIH small business grants. many people are employed. in the last year or 2, the other people have not been getting NIH small business grants -- and these are really, really good grant writers. the money is just drying up in this line of work. so the small business has been letting people go. right now, our grant is almost all that is left so the small business that had 25 employees is down to our 5 that we employ and an accountant and the owner with a few hourlies still doing some work as the small business also does publishing and makes money from materials to cover their salaries. it's really sad to see how many people have lost their job because of the lack of good funding for NIH. we have 2 years left on our NIH grant so hopefully the funding goes up by then and we can continue to make great products for students who have disabilities.

--
[color:red] Kansas Jayhawks -- 2008 National Champions
