Best thing to do when you see a post with the icon is to ignore it and let me delete it. I would guess that 99% spam posts use the icon.

[color:white]I'm also known as OSXaddict
Just to ease your mind, mscodeclite.7.exe is for Windows only, and if it's just sitting in your downloads folder it won't hurt anything anyway. If it was a Mac virus/trojan it would need to be in certain folders to do any harm. If it could harm us, it would need to be in one of the top level System or Library folders, or your users Library folder, and it would need to be in a certain folder in one of those. Clicking the link only downloaded the exe file, they were relying on someone on a PC to okay it to run after it downloaded,

There are some exe's buried deep in OS X that X uses, but anything you download labeled exe is only Winders.

HTH

------>#1 - JD's Trivia game

------>#2 - MM-MCF Trivia game
