Well, I'm finally here in NYC. What a couple of months it's been!

I'll spare the recap, but I will say that this has been (and still is) the most stressful and scary thing I've ever done. I've seen Midnight Cowboy too many times to feel comfortable yet!

So if things work out, I'll be here awhile. If they don't, then, well, whatevs... I'll have to work that out as it comes. But I know that only a positive attitude can get you through.

If any of you guys are going to be here, let me know, I'd love to get together. And once I get settled in, I should be able to get to some of the nearer MM F2Fs.

Good to hear the Eagle has landed. Good luck in the Big Apple. What part of town are you in?

[color:red] [color:orange] [color:yellow] [color:green] [color:blue] [color:purple]

Don't make friends with anyone named Ratso and take that dang cowboy outfit off. Fenway is only four hours away by car so give a holler when you are going to visit smaller new England villages.

Hold on tight, you're just startin' to fly!

Very, verrrrrrrry !!

And thanks for checking in.

[color:white]xx[color:blue]I always deserve it. Really.

You've made it to the Big Apple!

Keep that positive attitude and don't make eye contact with people on the streets (or even accidentally bump into them) and you'll be fine.

Keep us posted!

I'm still chugging away at trying to get finished with college here, so it's been pretty much all work and no time for play.

Good luck Trey! What an exciting new beginning.

Hey have you ever heard of Tab Benoit? He's in town next week and we were wondering if he was any good. Sounds like he is from the story they did on him in the paper.

Tab Benoit believes everyone has a role to play.

And whether it be belting out a Cajun tune for a sold out audience or rallying against the destruction of the Everglades, he’s never shied away from what he believes is his role.

“I think doing something that makes the world a better place than the day before is what we’re all here for and music happens to be my part of it,” Benoit said.

Benoit, 40, winner of the Contemporary Male Blues Artist of the Year and the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year awards at last year’s Blues Music Awards, will perform at Centralia College Wednesday, Oct. 29. The Louisiana native has played guitar since he was a very young child, when he found the instrument came naturally to him. His music, which is a blend of classic rock ‘n’ roll, ‘70s rock, Cajun rock, blues and jazz comes straight out of the bayou.

oh yeah, that's going in the blog
