So the silence on Tim Mahoney is deafening....yet...2 years ago, Mark Foley, whose sins were much less....story #1.

The media in the United States has lost all credibility and this is the year whatever objectivity they had left has gone down the tubes.

A cursory look of all the main media outlets' home pages shows they are hiding the news for one reason: to protect Democrats and elect Barack Obama.

And what about Nancy Pelosi? Ethics committee? Will the Democrats do anything here? Probably not.

The media has credibility that it could lose? It lost all of it a long time ago during the ginning up of the war in Iraq. Game set match. NYT and the rest of them have nothing worth saying after that.

Maybe what you are experiencing is their apology. Sort of like when the umpire misses a call and hands a miscall the other way over later in the inning but really it makes no difference. The game is already lost.

Oh give it up.

Democrats ditch Rep. Mahoney amid sex scandal

Congressional Dems are tarring and feathering this guy, it's all over the news ~ There's about as much of a "conspiracy" here as there is a brain in MsMoose's skull.

At the risk of derailing your thread (no, no, hold the applause ), here's what always always floors me about this kind of shlt. Not that he was dipping his wick, and not where or who or the gender involved. Nope, it's this scenario. Never changes. Ever.

[color:blue]In a statement delivered in his district with his wife, Terry, by his side, Mahoney said he takes “full responsibility” for his actions and the pain he has caused his family

Apparently, there's some cosmic rule ~ If a woman marries a politician and he runs around on her and gets publicly outted, she is required to become a human door mat, especially during a photo-op.

[color:white]xx[color:blue]I always deserve it. Apart from the personal break of trust, she and the family are made to go through public humiliation and ridicule, obliged to bail him out.
