I remember there was something about that some time ago ? Was that a software issue ? Anyway my Lacie external boot drive fan runs at high speed even when the drive is turned off and cooled<br><br>

Its the Mini one and no Mac Mini on top - I placed the Lacie on top of a CD case because the fan vents is at the bottom which I felt was not enough air circulation and still the fan went on forever until I unplugged it<br><br>
