Obama's been quiet on this attack for a long time, and 30 days to go and now he plays hardball. This will get the media's attention, specially if Obama hammers McCain with it Tuesday night. Somehow I think this will make McCain blow a gasket. The full 15 minute documentary will be posted tomorrow at noon ... I rather think this might not have happened if McCain/Palin hadn't resurrected the already-discredited Ayers ploy ...

Although this does have risks -- as mentioned, the vague implication of "palling around" with "terrists" may nevertheless strike home with many folks more than actually barely avoiding prosecution for a white collar crime ...

Turn up the signal, wipe out the noise ...
already-discredited Ayers ploy <---- where is this proof ? ? beside those ones that Obama once sat on the same committee as Ayers and once had held a political rally at Ayers private home ??

Sure Aryers may be a fantom from Obama past - but it does not excluded it either "former ties" - This is want I mean by keeping it fair , if the media is gonna dig up dirt on McCain 20 years ago - Obama should be fair game too

IMO

In reply to:

if the media is gonna dig up dirt on McCain 20 years ago

Many people went to prison. McCain was facing corruption charges. The Senate Ethics Committee found him to have extreme "Poor Judgement" in the S&L Scandal ... he was ordered to return $145,000 (but Cindy McCain ended up making $20 Million on her Keating investment deal enabled by Congressional corruption) .... It ended up costing taxpayers $3.4 billion to clean up the mess and cover federally-insured deposits at Lincoln, making it the most expensive failure in the entire S&L meltdown. 20,000 citizens lost their life savings. The ultimate cost of the crisis to American taxpayers reached more than $120 billion.

Not dirt. Completely relevant.

I agree, but I think McSame went digging first... and Obama had nothing to do with Ayers past... though Ayers might deserve prison - he was never convicted... but McSame's role in the S&L debacle is well documented, and Keating DID go to jail with many others.

so who's worse a domestic terrorist, or a financial terrorist ?
the difference in my mind is Obama's ties to Ayers are much more superficial while McSame's to Keating are very intimate and someone close to him profited !

David (OFI)

In reply to:

already-discredited Ayers ploy <---- where is this proof ? ?

Exactly -- what is the allegation supposed to be in the first place -- what exactly does "palling around with a domestic terrorist" supposed to mean, exactly, other than some odd attempt to imply that Obama supports domestic terrorism? Since Obama clearly doesn't support domestic terrorism, and his ties with Ayers are limited at best anyway, that ploy is indeed fairly discredited and has been for 5-6 months now ...

And like I said, I doubt Obama would have played the Keating 5 card if McCain hadn't dredged this thing up again ... so if you're playing the "fair" game, blame McCain for bringing this up yet *again* ...

Turn up the signal, wipe out the noise ...
Perhaps Carp was watching Hannity's special hour-long report "Obama and Friends: A History of Radicalism", of which I am told this is the summary:

The story goes that secret muslim drug addict Obama used to live with a Pakistani coke-dealer/terrorist in NYC who recruited him. From that point, Obama is a sleeper agent working his way closer to the White House. A shadowy figure from the Saudi government got him into Harvard. Ayers runs Obama's 'cell' and assigned him to Chicago to prepare the people for the violent overthrow of the U.S. Government, which is what ALL community organizers do. Obama's fake election is being masterminded by the immense ACORN voting-fraud division, and funded by the $700B Bailout.

THANK YOU

I sent it (as you all know, only I can )
back to the same gang of jerks that MASS MAILED
another BS E-Mail about how Obama is the SOUL CAUSE
of the Mortgage Crunch because he worked with the ACORN
GROUP to help low income families obtain loans to buy housing.

BACK ATCHA!

[color:white].
