I don't know why this isn't harped on more (it probably will be now), but McCain voted for and vocally supported deregulation of post Great Depression safeguards that were set up specifically as a firewall to keep a possible banking crisis from spreading. And his top adviser, Gramm, was the chief architect of the bill that did it! The man who is going to advise McCain on how to run the economy b/c McCain says bluntly it's not his forte! By all that is holy and and all that is not, if this doesn't wake enough people up, then what the hell will? Do I think Obama can wave his hand and make it magically disappear? Of course not. Do I think McCain is the very last man for this job? Of course.

With Mojo's background, I am sure he could weigh in on this one.

We are STILL what we repeatedly do. -Aristotle
