Power Mac G4, Dual 867 MHz Processors, MacOS 10.4.11, 1.5 GB DDR SDRAM<br>Model: PowerMac3,6, BootROM 4.4.8f2, 2 processors, PowerPC G4 (2.1), 867 MHz, 1.5 GB<br>——————————————————————————<br><br>When I turn on my Mac the fan doesn't start so in a few minutes the machine goes repeatedly to sleep because the temperature is too high and it wants to cool down.<br><br>I need help in troubleshooting the fan's connections and working order and/or orientation on finding where to buy the right substitute fan and instructions on how to install it.<br><br>I would appreciate any help and/or understanding. <br><br>Thanks. Is it the case fan or the power supply fan? I'm thinking it's your PS fan which is an integral part of the PS. I'd suggest replacing the entire PS.<br><br>G4 Power Supply<br><br>Price looks reasonable at this supplier.
