Quick update.<br><br>One of the hurdles we've been battling for the last several days is the user account information. The problem is that wwwthreads encrypts the passwords in the db.<br><br>What we've finally figured out now is that that encryption is not "reversible". And, since the encryption method used in the new forum is different, we were trying to extract the user info, including the password, to get into the new system.<br><br>In the end, we've decided that this is too difficult to do ... and so we're going to generate new, temporary passwords for everyone in the new system. We'll email these out when they are ready. And, when you log into the new system, you can change it to a password you want.<br><br>There's nothing for you to do now -- just wanted to let you know what was up.<br><br>There's the quick update. Thanks Neil.<br><br>Just a heads up for everyone. Go into your control panel and check there is a valid e-mail address listed. I know many signed up years ago and may have changed addresses since then. I'm guilty and just changed mine.<br><br>
