I didn't know you shouldn't reheat spareribs in the microwave. They explode.

I reheated some ribs last night and had a mess to clean up. Thinking it was a fluke, and being a begger for punishment, I went and did it again tonight! Hard to believe after all these years of owning a nuker I'm just finding this out now.

I know whole eggs are a no no. What else shouldn't I be trying to cook or reheat in a microwave?

You know better than to ask me, I wasn't sure about nuking baked potatoes. Way back when, the ex and I brought home our first micro wave. Instructions? We don't need no . . . anyway, we blew up some raw chicken legs. Probably one of the funnier highlights in that marriage.

[color:white]xx[color:blue]I always deserve it. Really.

I think you must be right. I've been thinking about it some and the only answer is the marrow.

I didn't know that, either. Thanks for the warning, though.

News to me!!!! I reheat ribs, matter of fact all meats in my microwave without a hitch.

My microwave has settings for baked potatoes, frozen foods, cooking foods (I hate microwave bacon - taste like rubber), popcorn (I hate microwaveable popcorn - I can taste the microwave), reheating dinner plates & rolls. Best of all refrigerated cooked meats.

I can even use aluminum foil in my microwave. You cover the food on your dinner plate that you don't want to microwave with it.

Microwave is 15 years old. I was thinking about getting a new one but after reading this thread, I will stick with my old faithful.

"I ain't scared of you muthafukaz!".....Bernie Mac R.I.P. 2008
