The annual air show at the CNE in Toronto was a great excuse for a get-together for the group. Marg's apartment is located across the curve of the lake from the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition. On a clear day, (which Sunday was) one can easily see the air show from the park behind Marg's apartment building. Some of the aircraft, notably the F18's, move so fast that they can't help but perform part of their act over our heads.

The show finished and we retired to a community room which Marg booked in her building. Sitting out on the balcony, we gnawed on barbeque'd ribs and other goodies while solving the world's problems and speculating on things Macintosh.

We had a great time. Thanks Marg.

Slide show! Slides change every five seconds. The first one takes a while to show up. The pictures may be as large as half a megabyte; be warned, dialup people!

Laz, OFI[/i][color:green]
Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Awesome pictures, John. I can't believe the shot of the pilot in the fighter jet.

There were 2 groups. The bunch to the left are the MM crowd. From left to right, JonnyCat (Hagen), Mrs. JonnyCat(Ginny) and myself. The group in front were my daughter and friends.

Many thanks to those who took the time to come by. You all made my day memorable. The company and food was fantastic!!

Sorry, no food pics. I guess we were so busy diving into the food we forgot. We had some really good eats. Everyone brought salads and/or munchies to add to the spareribs that my daughter and I cooked up. Ginny brought a delicious pineapple dessert as well. yum yum!!

In reply to:

So, who are they?

I likely made the pictures a bit too large in the slide show and the captions may have been below, a bit off screen. Sorry 'bout 'dat.

Shoulda kept my camera around for the post-event barbeque as well, but I got lazy. And tired. And in case anyone wants to know what I look like:

Laz, OFI[/i][color:green]
Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Beautiful location, too, I swear you've probably got some of the best digs in the joint, marg.

Thank you, John. That was fun. Short, but fun.

[color:white]xx[color:blue]I always deserve it. Really.
