B I N G O !!

yeah isn't that the same tactics they used against Kerry !?

haven't they tried to say "He'll raise your taxes !!! " (scare tactic)

"Obama is a Muslim !! " (though he's NOT) (scare tactic)

"Obama is elitist !!" (scare tactic)

"Obama is naive and will compromise our national security " ! (scare tactic)

so what scare tactic haven't they used ??

It's not about what McCain will do to solve our problems (except more Bush tax cuts**)... but it's always let's make the other guy look scary !!

David (OFI)

** hasn't worked yet after 3 tries so why is this one different??
I'm always amazed at this, I always see it in the press;

"Democrat Barack Obama, the first black candidate with a shot at winning the White House,"

I'll repeat for anyone that doesn't know, he's half black, half white. Why does the media stress the black part and call him the first black candidate?

No, the press isn't biased.

------>#1 - JD's Trivia game

------>#2 - MM-MCF Trivia game
the half black point is pretty weak. when's the last time you heard someone called a "half black man"? the black community has certainly embraced him as witnessed in the primaries. to point to this as some sort of bias is bordering on ridiculous.

--
[color:red] Kansas Jayhawks -- 2008 National Champions
Obama doesn't say that McCain called him a muslim, but in his statement he says his opponent and his republican allies . . . i assume that means 527s and nearly everyone who will or has attacked Obama.

--
[color:red] Kansas Jayhawks -- 2008 National Champions
Well I obviously move around in more enlightened republican circles.... They don't care what religion the candidates are - it's the liberal talkers that are harping on about "republicans believing that Obama is a Muslim, or Romney needed to overcome his mormonism". It's the liberal talkers discussing Obama's list of prospective VP's...
- what would he bring to the table?
- well I think he brings experience in finance/security/foreign policy or whatever that Obama doesn't have.

Even Hilary's campaign was suggesting that Obama didn't have the experience to be president!

It doesn't take much investigation to debunk a myth and move on. Or look at the facts to make a choice. Most of my republican friends just don't like the choices, then again, they didn't like the choices 4 years ago either.

I used to think it was terrible that life was unfair. Then I thought what if life were fair and all of the terrible things that happen came because we really deserved them? Now I take comfort in the general unfairness and hostility of the universe.
