Possible its the "foot door in the door" or "baby step" if you will

Yes the bill is stupid for the obvious reasons and maybe Congress will pass it due to it being so stupid. <-- a year later they now have some statistics and can now push the bar up so to speak to introduce more bills to lift the ban on pot.

Just my 2 cents , cough 2 fingers worth

[color:blue]marijuana a bigger problem than alcohol - well as mentioned before the Gov. just does not have the employment figure from pot production but you betcha the Gov. knows that the alcohol industries employs hundreds of thousands of people and they are not going to shut them down.

Control;
You must be over 21 yada yada and the Gov. knows where and who sells alcohol yada yada - sure people can make their own home brews "booth leg" but you would find it hard to make money trying to be a dealer in dark alleys selling your home brew swill.

Control; - Pot
Well any smuck with some dirt some seeds and some water can grow weed anywhere <-- hence the Gov. would lose all control

Relavent to unsubstantiated findings that high THC content caused more mental instability.
Though I maintain that mentally unstable people could more likely be helped by using properly prescribed cannabinoids.

It is all in the seed. Properly controlled breeding programs will consistently yeild high THC content but the nature of the genetics of cannabis are that any strain will tend to produce hemp in temperate climes. To avoid this, merely introduce "stronger" strains periodically and control which particular cultivars become the parents.
Thus backyard weed can be every bit as good or better than hydroponically grown.

We had several pot houses recently raided by the forces of truth and justice.

[color:red] [color:orange] [color:yellow] [color:green] [color:blue] [color:purple]
