I can no longer pretend to anyone that I'm 'content' to wait a couple of months. I may not be able to get hold of one soon, but I'm going to try... I'll be in Taunton tomorrow morning, and I'm sort of banking on there not being too many people around here who think it's cool. But if I get one, it'll be a couple of days before I'm back with my mac and can exploit the sync factor - maybe by then the worst of the initial bugs will have surfaced .<br><br>Incidentall,y I'm already on O2 and paying nearly as much for a third of the functionality on a crap phone that tries to talk to my mac in glazarbian. It's gonna be a zoo around here, I'm afraid. Canada didn't get very much of a shipment for tomorrow. I'm not about to get into a fist fight over an iPhone so I'll be cautious. <br><br>Thank goodness our cell carrier caved in to the loud protests. They would have been facing angry customers protesting instead of happy customers shelling out plenty of money.<br><br> I'm getting a fairly good deal, IMO.... for Canada, that is. I'll be out of pocket $65/month. ouch!! I currently have a cell phone for $27/month but my cheapie phone only makes phone calls. Imagine that? <br><br>

If I can get a second job to pay the monthly fees to AT&T, I'll get one. Otherwise, I'll be getting an iPod Touch and sticking with my relatively cheap cell phone from Verizon.<br><br>

I still can't afford one and I still wouldn't be able to use all of its features. Maybe when they become so common as to be offered as a free phone upgrade. <br><br>
