My favorite aunt sent me an email tonight asking me for a piece of advice that had impacted my life. This was my reply:

A piece of advice that has impacted my life. (from Bob Dylan)

"I ain't lookin' to block you up
Shock or knock or lock you up,
Analyze you, categorize you,
Finalize you or advertise you.
All I really want to do
Is, baby, be friends with you."

Do any of you have a piece of advice that has impacted your life to add?

I never listened to much advice growing up, but back around 1980 I remember reading something that was about future trends in the job market. They said if you knew something about computers, their operation, and/or service, in the year 2000 you'd have no trouble finding a job. If you knew nothing it would be hard. They were right.

------>#1 - JD's Trivia game

------>#2 - MM-MCF Trivia game

Oh, and: if your head resembles a dutch cheese, do not rest it on the grocer's counter.

I have found this strangely apt in many situations - after the event, anyway...

[color:purple]A lopsided man runs best along the little side-hills of success
- Frank Moore Colby
