Even if it were to proceed, there's no way Bush could be impeached, convicted and forced from office over the next seven months. Driving him from office isn't the goal, making him accountable is.<br><br>

Ha... that would 'splain lots !!<br><br>To ALL:<br>Yes the thing here is not impeachment itself.. it's too late... but could he be convicted as a citizen and have to pay for his crimes ? and what about trial by a World Court for war crimes ?<br><br>there is no time limit to these as far as criminal conviction .. I think it's better to try him when he's the EX-President (and a citizen again) than now... <br><br>but Justice would be served... same as someone who committed a crime years ago and then gets caught... we don't overlook theri crimes and let them go scott -free.<br>so why should Bush be any different ?<br><br>David (OFI)
