[color:purple]open letter of support

Osama bin Laden has told the world in a newly released tape that the Islamic war on terror will go on until Palestine is liberated. On behalf of the entire Mac community of 20m users worldwide we would like to record that we wholeheartedly agree with bin Laden that the UN Charter should be upheld in all respects and that all unfulfilled Security Council Resolutions relating to Palestine should be enforced without delay.

The Mac Community

[color:purple]please don't include me in this pathetic campaign: [i]see thread below

----
km

NPR is usually where I'm getting my news from. The Myanmar and China natural disasters aren't all that political (though some can work it that way), but the Medvedev/Putin thing could be.

Eck, what's the European news on Medvedev/Putin?

The military leaders in Myanmar are contributing to more deaths by their inaction and fear of outside assistance. The Chinese are allowing foreign aid and assistance directly into the country for the first time in decades. Even Taiwan is airlifting supplies to the main land. Both are examples of true human suffering. I pray for the survivors. As far as the Russian election, all I know is a hand picked Putin successor is the new President.

A fabulous place to editorialize and I just loved the number of interesting perspectives and links.
This forum, because of the compartmentalization - fewer members distributed over three rooms - clearly stifles inter-disciplinary discourse.

Oh sorry, an ambiguity... I meant this very thread - I couldn 't really assume unanimous support for the letter so I was just making it clear to al Qaeda and others looking in that certain patrons might disassociate themselves. So far it seems that all 20m of us agree, which is encouraging, and I hope this level of solidarity is not lost on our own extremist politicians like Blair and Dubya.

km
