The point with Wright... is that it was NOT Obama !

This IS Bill O' ...

Hillary talked about Obama staying in a church of "hate" (only a few sermons out of thousands over 20 years)... what about Hillary staying in a 'damaged" marriage the same 20 years with Bill??

and what about McCain going along with Bush on many of his misdirected policies for the last 8?

NO ONE is perfect.

but I think Obama has the least "baggage".

David (OFI)
Yes, this was Bill O'. I have to give Billary credit here though. It has to be tough to forgive and forget. Not sure that ever really happens but she's willing to keep it going. In the older days, women would put up with cheating. Most now don't. They'll leave you over looking at them wrong. She's hung in there.

in the "good old days" the woman (chattel) was trapped in the situation,
...whether by children, financial dependence, society, or the church...
Since then, those restraints (shackles)have been remove.

Family planning did away with squeezing out brats like a Puppy Mill.
Which freed women to enter the workplace, due to rising cost of living
society was finally forced to accept it, and the church can go get stuffed.

As for Hillary's Choice:
divorcing the pig would've made her unelectable (too bitter a pill to swallow)

[color:green]"...or am I a butterfly that's dreaming she's a woman?" [color:green]. . . _ _ _ . . .
That's the thing about Hillary-- to a lot of people she came off as being the loyal wife that "worked through it" during the Lewinski crisis. But to many, many more, it appeared as though she was behaving not as the proverbial faithful wife, but as a cool (cold), calculating political animal.

I felt that way at the time. I didn't give a damn if she stayed with Bill or not. I felt it was their business. But my perception at the time was that she was something other than human. Flash forward to 2008: we see just how ambitious she really is! A political animal indeed! She's a political creature!

My position is that I don't care if she stays or stayed with Bill or not- HER business.
BUT don't go knocking someone else for staying with a church saying he should have known, he should have left, you choose your church yada, yada, yada, ... when you're in a very similar situation! .... hypocrisy deluxe !!

And looking back, I think she stayed for more political reasons than human... or wifely devotion... but I really don't care at this point.

David (OFI)
Sweet! I love the rage.

Being in the broadcast industry for more than 20 years now I've seen this sort of thing happen from many different people. Matter of fact, here's Casey Kasem having his own meltdown:

It's just the nature of the business sometimes.

***********************

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK6l2Sfb7I4
