to attend? should he? why? why not? no opinion? who is Obama? who is Clinton?

Breaking: ABC's 'This Week' holds town hall with Clinton

Hillary Clinton will appear in a live town hall meeting Sunday on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."

Just two days before the primaries, ABC's town hall event will be broadcast live from Indiana, and also include viewer questions from North Carolina. "This Week" host Stephanopoulos is moderating.

ABC News has also extended offers to both Sen. Barack Obama and John McCain, according to a network spokesperson.

http://tinyurl.com/4erncx

No, Clinton should have the hour to herself. Obama will be on for an hour on Meet the Press, so they get equal time.

Stephanopoulus will likely throw her softballs and we'll hear a lot of trash talk about Rev. Wright and how Obama is an elitist. If Obama was there also I think there would be too much suspicion that the audience questions would be setups by shills from the opposing campaigns.

On the otherhand, Tim Russert is going to grill Obama more on those two issues and hopefully something else policy-wise. I think it's a great opportunity to hear each for an hour.

i don't think Obama should go anywhere near George Stephanopoulos. he's too close to the Clintons and it showed after the flag lapel pin debacle of a debate he moderated.

--
[color:red] Kansas Jayhawks -- 2008 National Champions
after George did that fiasco of a debate, his ratings have dropped**:

Meet the Press: 3.2
Face the Nation: 2.2.
Fox News Sunday: 2.0
**This Week: 0.8

Obama is choosing the correct show for exposure. Clinton is choosing the correct show for the softballs. win - win.

--
[color:red] Kansas Jayhawks -- 2008 National Champions
I don't give a [censored]
holding this farce of a meeting
to which she will undoubtedly use his refusal
to engage the witch under these circumstance, to spread
it around that he's AFRAID to "debate" with her, has really put the nail
in her coffin as far as I'm concerned. She just stepped off the bottom wrung.

As far as I'm concerned, by adopting the tactics of the REPUGNINTcan Party she's officially
become a trader to the Democratic Party and I hereby announce that I'll have no more to do with her

...even when she does become president...
