I hope that this solution isn't embarrassingly apparent, but I can't properly sync my iPhone because there are 625 items in my "recently played" playlist totaling at better than 4 gigs.

I tend to like having this playlist on the phone-- but it's getting out of hand. Is there a way to clear it?

Try removing the phone from your list of devices in iSynch, then re-adding it. That allows you the option when synching of erasing the device before writing to it. I do this all the time because otherwise my contact info and calendar items get written and rewritten until I can't have more than a week in either direction and the stuff in iCal gets all f'd up. So, I just erase and redo each time.

The Bill of Rights doesn't grant us our rights, it merely enumerates them.

Just set up different smart playlists that better meet your needs, maybe--like limiting that playlist to the last 100.

nagr[color:red]omme

I require stroyent!
TeamMacOSX.com | MacClan.net
