I know enough of Dreamweaver to put together and modify simple sites but I'd like to get more proficient. Any recommendations for training books/sites/disks?

Thanks.

Dreamweaver CS3 Tutorials at Lynda.com are pretty good.

As for books, try Dreamweaver CS3 Unleashed. Very comprehensive. I have it at home, it covers a LOT of stuff for someone new to the app, as well as people with at least a working knowledge.

I just bought the Adobe Classroom in the book series for a lot of the C3 programs I have. I have not started the Dreamweaver Book yet but it looks helpful. I am moving from GoLive.

_______
I just finished taking an excellent online class at UMass Lowell in Dreamweaver (with Photoshop components). Registration for the spring semester begins on Tuesday. UMass Lowell Online.
This is the class that just ended, but it will probably be offered again next semester:
