As I listen to John McCain and General Patreaus I cannot help but think they are being played like a fiddle by none other than Osama bin Laden. Does anyone listen to OBL or is that traitorous?

OBL has stated that his wish is to draw the Americans into a long drawn out war and bleed them dry by forcing them to use up their soldiers and fortune. OBL was trained by the USA to do exactly this in Afghanistan against the USSR and it worked. Why are we not learning from that short history not that long ago and getting the hell out of Dodge? We should not have gone. We should have left. In 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 2007, we should have left. Staying one more year is a mistake. Ask OBL what we should do. He says stay, please stay, you have more blood and fortune you need to waste.

Complete and utter idiocy. We should be fighting OBL not doing exactly what he wants.

That's the whole point.
Osama couldn't have orchestrated a better plan (The Iraq War) to get back at the US if he had tried.
It's absolutely perfect. The rise and fall of the United States right before your very eyes.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Afghanistan is a quagmire, because we abandoned it in favor of the "glory" for GW of invading Iraq. We should have stayed and stabilized Afghanistan.

Here is the GW administrations incredible short sightedness. Attack Afghanistan, remove the Taliban government, insert our hand picked "democratic" government, leave. The intent was to never capture OBL. Without him alive, there is no war on terrer. The same applies to Iraq. Invade, remove Saddam, install hand picked "democratic" government, leave. All is just peachy. They had no f?cking idea of the sectarian violence that would erupt in the power vacuum that was left. They are idiots.

Edited by MacBozo on 04/09/08 06:01 PM (server time).
