Big Eddy over on Sirius left is pounding McCain as a war monger and is focusing on his lack of support for American Vets via voting for legislation to benefit them.

Rush and O'Reilly are taking offense.

I have to agree with Ed, according to the Webster's definition McCain fits the name. Has anyone heard him talk or give ideas of trying to resolve hostilites in Iraq? and he talks of is staying 100 years, attacking Iran, booting Russia out of the G8... he never mentions the word Peace ... not even in a limited sense.

David (OFI)

He has a list of Veteran bills McCain voted against;
see at : www.wegoted.com
I heard on a local radio show a guy going around asking people do they support the troops. They would all say yes. Then the guy would ask them how do you support them. Most didn't know what to say. Of course, a simple answer would be to say "I do not say anything bad about them or call them baby killers like Vietnam opposers did."

Another thing about this war is, no matter when we get out there is going to be chaos in Iraq. But I agree with Ron Paul when he said we need to get out of there and let them work it out amongst themselves. Actually, that's what happened in Vietnam and it eventually worked itself out.
