my favorite republican senator is Hagel. in fact, i think Chuck Hagel is going to end up in an Obama administration since he's retiring this year. probably not VP, but secretary of state or defense, perhaps. anyway, he had good things to say about Obama last night even though he's supposed to be very good friends with McCain -- "Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) said last night that, among the 3 remaining candidates, he thought Barack Obama had the best chance of bringing the country together."

link here to short, short article

I would love to see a Republican like Senator Hagel in an Obama administration. From his wki page:

"To question your government is not unpatriotic — to not question your government is unpatriotic."

Now that's my kind of patriotism.

I'd feel a whole lot better about voting for ODude with Hagel on the ticket. You know, like there was actually an adult behind the wheel.

[insert gigantic winky and at least give me credit for voting for MrO when the time comes] [/insert gigantic winky and at least give me credit for voting for MrO when the time comes]

[color:white]xx[color:blue]I always deserve it.
