If McCain vs. Obama, 28% of Clinton Back...s go for McCain

Is this real? Or is it just a 'cunning' political game to get Clinton or Obama to win the primary?

Imagine that in the general election this indeed does turn out to come to pass. McCain could win! Even if discontented democrats vote in the Presidential Election for their Democratic Party but write in or mark McCain for president, —I don't know if mixed voting is allowed in the US, it is in Puerto Rico— we could end up with what we have now: Democratic House and Senate and a Republican White House for four more years!

Is this sound Democratic politics?

[Excuse me. I have to leave now . I'll be back to check your comments —if any— later.]

well this is political Doo-Doo !

Lots of things will happen between now and Nov... this is like trying to predict the World Series before the 1st pitch of the playoffs !!

McCain has lots of baggage.. All the Dems have to do is tie his quotes together and he looks 2 faced and a flip-flopper... on issues he's supposed to be an expert and a naive dolt on the others !

put that with keeping troops in Iraq until 2010 or longer,,, the cost $200-300 billion minimal, the current economy, job loss, home loss, ballooning deficits... etc... his trash won't sell !

Bush's disapproval is at 70%.... McCain has already put his wagon in Bush's wagon train to destruction. It should be a cakewalk to put together a strong message that will defeat McCain.

David (OFI)
Yeah, and the people supporting McCain have to ask themselves.....How long are we willing to stick out this stupid war while getting the same results? Sure the surge has worked somewhat, but the government can't get itself together in 5 years. How long do we have to wait. In the mean time, we waste our military lives and Iraqi civilian lives continue to skyrocket. 50,000 Iraqi civilian lives a year is so much better than 100,000 per year dead. That must be the thinking of Bush and McCain.
