Thanks VERY MUCH to all...

I'll try the card reader tonight and Image Capture... I've been swamped the past 3 days.

I'll post the outcome..

David (OFI)
If you use the card reader, you can do it all by hand vs Image Capture. I find it easier to just open up the folder and drag/drop the files to the desktop. Then import them into iPhoto.

my photos
Image Capture and the card reader didn't work. I get this message.
What's weird is the images are clearly on the chip and are very sharp, I just can't print or capture them.

any other suggestions ?

David (OFI)
I don't know is that what .crw means.
If so how can I access them ?
when I drag and drop the images I get 2 files... one ends in .CRW and the other is .THM. I can't open either... in Photoshop, Preview... nothing.

David (OFI)

How old is the card? I'm wondering if there is some kind of wear or damage to the card, itself. IIRC, I saw something somewhere that stated that flash memory has a limit to read/write/erase cycles. You can view them on the camera, but they won't transfer to the computer? I'm thinking there is some kind of file corruption happening which is preventing anything other than the camera from reading.
