I took in my G5 to a mac place to get them to add my ram and The "ATI RADEON 9600 PRO graphics card, and it seems the messed up my computer. They said its not running right now and need to look at it some more. they are not open on the weekends which is lame so I have to wait until Monday to talk with them about it. <br><br>It was running fine before I brought it in. They are not sure if its what I put in the machine.<br><br>Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong.<br>I did not ask them if they zapped the pram but i would hope they would know to do that.<br><br>

Did you install any third party items to change the user interface (to change the dock or something like that)? Sometimes that can mess things up. Then again, they may have just been too busy to troubleshoot the issues that it seems to be having. Better that they are making sure it's running right before they give it back to you. Just be patient, although I'm sure you miss it a lot. You'll find out more on Monday when you can talk to them. Let us know what happened.<br><br>

It seems the RAM I got was bad and that was causing the problems. It seems it was not working with the old RAM,so I just told them to keep the new ram which was 2 gigs and the old was 1 G<br>thanks for your help everyone<br>I ll let you know how the graphics card works<br><P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by gnfnr2k on 03/17/08 03:05 PM (server time).</EM></FONT></P>
