OK- I'm frustrated. Finally decided to go all X and layed it down on my Cube and my TiBook. Things had been going well until today. After re-installing FCP 3 on X for the TiBook, I started having problems. First, the computer locked up on restart. After I got that issue resolved, i found that my Quicktime will no longer work (tried samples from Quicktime page). Rebooted the computer again and tried to re-install Quicktime Pro that came with FCP, but the Installer would keep quitting. Then thought I would look for help on the internet, and my IE could no longer "find the server" (yes, the Cube running as my Airport Software Base Station was booted in 9.2.2). Really strange since it had worked about 10 minutes before! Can someone help me with my three problems?<br>1) OS X Installer keeps crashin<br>2)Quicktime missing hardware (I think I can resolve with the re0install of software after #1 is solved.<br>3) Airport on Ti not letting me connect to the internet.<br><br>Thanks!<br><br>matt<br><br>

Adding to the initial post: After installing Quicktime Pro that camw with FCP 3, the computer hung on restart. Being unfamiliar with X (just installed last week), I was not sure what to do and let it hang for a little bit. Right before I did a force shut down, I experienced a kernel panic. Upon reboot (which started perfectly fine), thats when I experienced my problems. My guess...as inexperienced as it is...is the kernel painc corrupted it? Well, I finally booted back into 9 and ran Norton Scan Disk. It found numerous problems that were fixable. After that, I booted into X, re-installed Quicktime, and everything was honky-dory (even my Airport was working again). I have no explanation.<br><br><br><br>
