I just signed up with this forum to thank-you, i've been struggling for two days to get the "lil-one" to work with 1.1.4.
I didn't :(
But the solution proposed sound's good, exept that iphonelist does not work with 1.1.4.
So..
Instaled 1.1.3, BL upgrade to 4.6, then gained acces to iphonelist and cleared the %$^&#@$ - comand line that made the phone shut down like crazy.
Going strong (for the last 15 min) hope it will keep-it-up.
For info: Model: iPhone1,1
Bootloader 4.6
and Modem firmware 04.04.05_G

I've run into a problem with my iPhone twice where it froze up. I had to hold down the button on the top, while holding down the button on the front, until the Apple logo came up, and then all was well. Both times it happened I was trying to do intensive things with it on dialup.

Haven't seen the shut down thingy yet... But it was sort of embarrassing when it froze up on me when I was trying to show someone a video...
