i watched a lot of commercials and a little bit of the game (i don't multitask well so my attention was more online), but i liked the e*trade ad with the talking little baby who ordered the clown and got freaked out by it the most.

You and Pete hit the highlights, the talking stain and the puking baby in the etrade commercial. Brady could have been a bit more Brady like and the offensive line a bit stiffer. But the Giants won the game. A bit of a surprise for the folks up here in Boston. Not used to losing SuperBowls.

Great finish! I didn't watch the game live, had it on DVR. Wouldn't you know that the five seconds I had a live news broadcast on when I was changing to the postgame segment to see the end, I heard a lament about the Patriots loss (they were discussing politics!). So I knew right before the Patriot's last touchdown that the Giants would take it down the field and score to win the game. While the suspense wasn't there for me at the end, I sure enjoyed seeing the Giants win and the amazing touchdown drive it took to do it.

My vote's for the FedEx ad with the carrier pigeons. The talking stain was a close second, though.

GBR (OFI)
HAHAHA - now that was funny.

I'll have to check out the other ads at myspace.com.

I really miss American TV. Superbowl without the commercials is just not the same.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.
I notice alot of people mentioning DVR here. DVR is awesome too. Watched the game live, but paused it a couple of times, rewind a few plays - had to watch the amazing escape from the sac followed by amazing catch down the field (sorry don't know the fancy sports caster phrase for that) that led to the Giants win.

After you have used the DVR for pausing and rewinding live TV, I don't know how anyone could watch TV any other way. We just got our DVR last May.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.
We were watching it on my DVR about 20 minutes later than live. My daughter was on her PC with some friends and they announced it to her. She told us, my son in law and I , that she knew who the winner was we yelled at her not to tell us but at that time the PAts were on teh 25 yard line looking to score with about 2:20 left. I just thought that they would score and then hold off the Giants for the win.

So this was a complete surprise. I like underdogs so this win was satisfying.

dave

There are 10 kinds of people. Those that understand binary and those that don't.
