Well, it got here today. A Dull. My son's surfing on it right now. It's a sad, dishonorable day in my house.

No flowers, please.

Great wits are sure to madness near allied.--John Dryden, "Absalom and Achitophel"
Now there's only one thing to do. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and try to enjoy what you can out of the experience. At least if nothing else it will make you appreciate your Mac all the more.

Oh, c'mon guys, it's only for gaming . Well, you can be sure gaming is the ONLY thing i'm going to use it for. Everything else is going to be done on the Mac. I will never convert to the "d-d-d-dark side"!

You are a bad parent. How could you raise a son like that? Disgraceful.

P.S. Oh well, Windows works too and if that is what he prefers I guess that is his choice. You are taking him out of your will though, right?

Just be thankful you don't have to assemble the innards yourself and try to get all the various bits to talk to each other. What a drama. If I ever volunteer to upgrade a PC ever again, somebody please shoot me. Thanks in advance.

And a special thanks to Swatty who provided the link that saved my bacon!

BTW, my daughter's P4 certainly motors along. It seems noticeably faster than the G4 933 in general ops and PS fair screams along on Pentium power. Don't tell anybody I said that though.
