Both. But not German ancestry. Dad was stationed in Nurenmburg. Mom was born in Hungary. And she got the opportunity as a very young child to spend time in Herr Hitler's work camps with my Oma and two more sister's. One sister did not survive. The remaining three were relocated after the war to what was then West Germany. Wiesbaden IIRC.
