I'm thinking of getting a wireless mouse to use with my MacBook. I'd like something smallish. Apple's wireless Mighty Mouse (Bluetooth I presume) is $69 but they also show a Kensington Si670m Bluetooth for $49. I figure as long as the MacBook has built in Bluetooth capability I might as well go that route and not have to fiddle with the USB gadget that some other wireless mice use. Yes: get the shape and feel you like (and if you test on a store shelf, remember that batteries will add weight). Having a better shape/feel is worth a lot, and that's subjective.<br><br>I like my BT Mighty Mouse, but not everything about it (mainly: the scroll ball sucks for weapon-switching in games). That Kensington does look good.<br><br>I too like small. Not just for travel--I find small mice far more comfortable. I hate the big "shoe mice" everyone sells, where you have to move your whole arm instead of just your fingertips.<br><br>I think my ideal mouse would be small and grabbed from the inside--like a doughnut or red blood cell. I'd move my finger(s) almost like a trackpad, resting them gently by their weight. Maybe a 2-inch oval. With the buttons on the near "lip." I kept mine. I'm the only person on the planet that liked the puck, but I've got small hands and it was a perfect fit. Mine is my back up mouse when my wireless mouse needs recharging. I never had a problem using it either. Since my wireless mouse is multi-button, going back to a single button is a pain, though.<br><br><br><br>

I never liked the puck: it's small front-to-back where it doesn't matter, and wide side-to-side where it's annoying. And of course there's the matter of needing a notch (if you're lucky) to know which way is up.<br><br>Apple's current pill shape is ideal for a mouse, for me. It's their manner of right-clicking and scrolling that disappoints me. A bigger ball, against rollers that provide the "notches" of most wheels, and real independent left-right buttons, would make it ideal. (And instead of the "squeeze" how about tiny watch-button sized buttons at the tops of the two grip arcs?
