If, or when, I get one, I won't be getting an extra battery. When the battery gets old enough to need replacing, it would be time for a new laptop anyway.<br><br>

Yes ...I have an extra battery. I don't use it though, it's sitting in it's box. I had bought a replacement battery for my iBook because we wore the original battery out. I bought a new one right before the big recall of all the laptop batteries happened. My old (dead) battery just so happened to be on the list of recalled batteries so I sent it in and got a brand spaning new one <br><br>So yes ...but I don't swap them out. <br><br>zweisoft<br>
I answered yes but it is a total waste. I also had two 12inchG4s in the house when dangerous battery recall and I sent three serial numbers in (spare too) and they made a mistake and sent me six in two orders. I never sent the originals back (my bad) so I was drowning in those. But they go into the lab and are handed out as party favors.<br><br>
