are there mods [staff] here among the general (nonaffiliated/never approached by MM to mod or staff) membership that are posting with other usernames than 'Moderator'?

very unhealthy, imo.

"in times of peace the warlike man attacks himself."

[color:red]Libertarian Communist
There is NO way you'll get me to admit to my moderator abilities!!! And I doubt the other half dozen moderators will reveal their real usernames.

It's really nobody's business.

- alec -

ichi,

You just postulated a scenario by asking a question, which presumably means you don't know the answer to it, but then you implied a "yes" answer to the question by stating, "i think something like that should be public, transparent, i.e. a list. very unhealthy, imo." That's kind of a sneaky way to accuse someone of something without actually making an accusation.

To paraphrase (and change the meaning somewhat:)

"Are there members of this forum who are Nazi skinheads eating babies in the privacy of their homes? Very unhealthy, imo."

I would suggest that, without direct evidence, either scenario is an unlikely complete fiction.

And also very unhealthy.

[color:blue]Laz, OFI[/i]

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others. -Groucho
I changed my username last year. Oh, wow, come to think of it, I didn't, it was actually Stan. Hmmm . . . Sooo . . . OK! I know.!

Yes! I am my own sock and very likely a Mod.

God, I feel so powerful now, I don't need no stinkin' badge!

[color:blue]I always deserve it. Really.

thank you, is it fixed now?

that was difficult for me, thank you. i haven't studied your analysis but i'll take your word for it.

i was thinking, at the time, that this version of the software may not allow making a user a moderator without changing their name to Moderator -as opposed to but not limited to other signification methods.

at least two others had mentioned this scenario to me. i think the right by asking.

i redirected my earlier question to yoyo and s/he did not further reply. (see how s/he answered me in another thread.) it there a definitive answer in this thread i did ask a question: let's see... brb.
nope.

btw, jl, you wrote: "I would suggest that, without direct evidence, either scenario is an unlikely complete fiction." it is unlikely that it is complete fiction, i agree. ;)

osxaddict may need translation though.

anyway all i see here are nu=bunch of jokesters who can't stop themselves from clicking into my posts and posting jokes where they have nothing, no interest, to add to the discussion.

"in times of peace the warlike man attacks himself."

[color:red]Libertarian Communist
