When I saw the headline "Clinton campaign getting 'depressing.'"
I thought that was a quote from McGovern.
I said to myself, yes, he's still pretty sharp.

I've seen a few of your political posts, David. I'm beginning to believe that you may want Bush impeached.

many ppl want them jailed, here a just a few.

[color:blue]ichi

[color:green]peace

[color:red]in times of peace, the warlike man attacks himself.
Well topper it's not that I dispise Bush so much... I wasn't real fond of his "Daddy" either, but I never called for his Impeachment. Though his policies weren't my piece of cake, for the most part they weren't illegal. Iran Conta is another issue for which Reagan should have been impeached. I think the fact they walked away emboldened the Neocons which were part of that Administration. Had Reagan been nailed, GW might not be so callous and bold. But that's another story.

GW/ Cheney should be impeaqched for a number of things...
several have to do with violating many's civil rights, lying to us about Iraq intel (I KNOW they did), obstructing justice, the list is long as McGovern points out.

My passion on this is not so much against Bush but FOR the Constitution... all politicians are Sworn to defend it... well if you have anyone (Pres included) arrogantly trounce all over it and "you" stand by and do nothing - its like watching a murder and not even turning the SOB in !! You become an accomplice.
It has NOTHING to do with Liberal- conservative, Dem -GOP, Bush or any one else... it's DEFENDING the Constitution, Topper. The basic foundation of our country ! IF you don't stand for that, you stand for nothing .

David (OFI)

The very fact that the Bush Administration goes around the world offering aid to different countries in return for pledges not to support war crimes trials in international courts against the civilian authority should tell us all something.

They are willing to use our tax money by way of development aid as a bribe so that other countries won't hold them accountable for jailing and torturing foreign nationals without respect to a single treaty. It would be nice if the public realized this and demanded that our congress did something at home.

-- Charlie Alpha Roger Yankee Whiskey
