Just that it's alllll happened before ...

January 24, 1967 an F4 tornado ripped a path through St. Louis County, the third worst tornado in St. Louis history, 3 dead and 216 injured. An outbreak of 32 tornadoes struck the central U.S. with 14 tornadoes in Iowa , 9 in Missouri , 8 in Illinois , and 1 in Wisconsin . Never had there been a recorded tornado in Iowa in January until this day. 7 people were killed in this outbreak. This was the furthest north tornado outbreak ever recorded for the winter season.

Waaaaa? A January Tornado BEFORE the Global Warming Gore Roar? The tornado in Racine Country, Wisconsin last week is now the northern-most January tornado on the books. January tornadoes are rare, but have occurred in downstate Illinois in the last century. No one knows if one has been north of Chicago in January though since before weather records were being collected.

Skepticism about global warming is one thing, but purely from a conservation standpoint, it makes no sense to just go on pumping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere at growing and growing levels. I personally want to leave this world in some pretty good shape when my ticket is up. To do otherwise is remarkably selfish.

-- Charlie Alpha Roger Yankee Whiskey
