I remember a long time ago someone posting something like this when Al Gore was making a speech in New York when the temperature outside was -5 F.

The joke has not aged well. It is still the most stupendously ignorant viewpoint I have ever run into except for young earth creationism (which happens to be shared by the polar opposite of my view on both accounts.)

Now arguing wether global climate change is occurring is still somewhat an open debate. I cannot say that just because a majority of climatologists agree does not mean it is an absolute. But to use today's cold weather as a foil to counter global warming is about as ignorant as you can get.
This is response from someone who knows what the answer is and they will find the answer no matter what it takes.

Now if you posted just for hilarity than I will guffaw with you except the joke kind of ranks up there with some really stupid knock knock jokes.

I guess that is a way to find the real truth. Next he will be using temperature predictions next to the broadripple community college furnace to explain why global warming is a myth.

Actually, those temps are not out of line for this time of year. We just had one of the warmest Decembers on record here in FL and will be returning to highs in the 80s (10 degrees above normal) by next week.

Your average temperature for those two days might average out to "normal" but the one thing that global climate change does explain is that we will be experiencing dramatic changes in climate. Day to day and week to week the climate and temp will change dramatically causing more severe weather.

Sort of like what we are experiencing today and tomorrow. It will be as cold as 5 F in Boston tomorrow after the heaviest snowfall in December in history followed by 40 F day after tomorrow. Pretty much what the global climate change people have been singing.
