... mainly through neglect<br><br>I distinctly remember during Clinton's term repeated diplomatic pressure put on OPEC to loosen oil restrictions and increase production. Nowadays the Bush Administration is staffed with many people from the oil industry whose former employers (or current depending on how cynical you think they are) benefit from high prices. It's unlikely that George W. Bush himself is going to OPEC and singlehandedly reducing production, but it's not unlikely that the administration simply does not think keeping oil prices low is a priority.<br><br>The proof is in the price of that thick, black pudding.<br><br>-- Charlie Alpha Roger Yankee Whiskey
