You are a good and kind and gentle and thoughtful person.

We are now down to 13 days, 12 hours, 57 minutes, and 2 seconds

I am sitting here talking to myself as normal...what am I going to do if the new Mac Pro is not launched at MWSF?

I will be so angry that that is almost a possibility.
But, no, I can't do it.
I will probably buy the current Mac Pro and then trade it in for the Nehalem Mac Pro which is due to launch at the end of the year.

From AppleInsider:

"Final Cut Pro group meet provides clues to Apple's MWSF plans

When a collection of Final Cut Pro user groups assemble to hold a meeting at Macworld San Francisco later this month, Apple will have a surprise presentation for its guests, AppleInsider has learned.

The January 16th gathering, which follows a day after Apple chief Steve Jobs' Macworld keynote, will feature "something super secret" from the Mac maker, according to the announcement.

Despite the nature of the group, the Apple unveiling is unlikely to include an update to the Final Cut Studio video production suite, which was updated in April and has rarely been updated during the San Francisco show in the past.

Historically, Apple has at times used professional audiovisual industry gatherings to discuss its high-end computers, including the MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, and Xserve."

When they announce a super ultralighit portable that I can stick in my jacket pocket with flash ram for a hard drive my elation will be subdued by the melancholy I know that will be felt by Topper.

I hope you get yours too. But Apple knows what they have to do.

I have PMed Topper and a road trip is already planned to Arizona. We will explain when we get there why you are wrong. Wrong Wrong wrong, WRONG, WRONG!!!

I have just moved this thread to "favorite" so when we are right and you are WRONG WRONG WRONG I can easily bring it up in any thread.

thank you, I feel better now. Didn't you say the iPod was a stupid idea?? I hope so.
