It occurred to me watching the Bill Moyers video on "Buying the War" someone posted last week that many of the pundits really got it all WRONG. People like O'reilly, G Will, Krauthammer, Saffire .... etc

SO WHY are they still on the air ? They are as much to blame as Congress and the gullible electorate for the Iraq fiasco.
NOW one can say they were duped, but they don;'t get a "pass" like the public. IT"S their DAMM JOB to be thorough and investigative... they should devote time to getting it RIGHT! The public is too busy trying to make a living and provide for their famiklies... but Congress and the Press should get FIRED !

Knight Ritter got it right and much of their information was fairly easily gotten. Just Proves the hawks either lied and hyped the BS, or were too lazy to do a journalists job.
Rumor mongers ... that's all they were. ANY office fool can do that !!

David (OFI)
