I downloaded DragThing and it comes close to answering all my needs. I still prefer the old Dock, but this will certainly do in its place. Thanks for the suggestion <br><br>   

Once you explore it you will find it does a lot. A couple of small things I like are assigning "hot keys" to open an item (such as Safari, Mail), and the trash on the desk top. I hate that trash in the dock!<br><br><br>For Mike
