OK, My iPhone locked up and I reset it 5-6 times and it wont get past the Passcode window....

Called Apple and the Tech said plug it into the Mac and do a "Restore" from iTunes.... OK... I asked will I lose all my data?

Apple Tech: Yes, but just re-sync with iTunes and you get it all back !

Super !! Ah will all my NotePad data be synced and restored...

Apple Tech: ah NO!! Apple sync doesn't save the NotePad info... it's Lost.

WHAT !! it syncs, photos, videos, tunes, calendar and lots of other stuff, but NOT the fricking Notepad !!??

Apple Tech: They're working oin that- we've had lots of complaints!

No schitt Sherlock !!

One reason I got the dang thing was to use the Notepad as a PDA !!

Damm Apple... I expect better from you. This is assinine !

With some of the screw-ups lately (which rarely happend after Jobs came back) one has to ask, "IS Apple trying to do too much, too fast ?"

David (OFI)
Nope , you're right... but it's the closest thing on an iPhone...

That is one feature Apple could really develop.

a Password and ID database would be handy. They could be stored in KeyChain on your Mac and synced !
Lots of other things too.

David (OFI)
iCal is great and it IS synced.

I add stuff on the phone calendar and it gets integrated with the iCal on my Mac desktop and visa versa... only the fricking NotePad appears not synced.

there are work arounds as many have pointed out.

David (OFI)
