I just bought my Macbook w/ 2ghz intel. I have a copy of FCP which I have been trying to install properly. Read a lot of posts saying that the macbook can still run FCP just with limitations. Yet everytime I run the app it pops up with the

Configuration Error:
This software requires certain hardware or software which is missing
- AGP graphics card.

I've tried editting the Info.plist file removing the AGP line but it causes FCP to fail before opening.

I'm not too concerned if I can't use motion, just more keen to have this software on the macbook aswell as my imac.

I wonder if it is because 4 is not universal? Wasn't 5 the first universal FCP?

And also, I wonder if that video card is good enough for FCP?

"Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory"

How much ram do you have in it?

Using 1gb RAM

Not sure if 4 is universal? I'm starting to think I may need to upgrade FCP.

I've read a lot of reviews that state that FCP doesn't have too much trouble running in a MB (with the exception of Motion), just suffers in a couple areas.

KEWL!

Welcome to MacMinute!

I'll have a Ham & Swiss on pumpernickle w/spicey-honey mustard
(plze slice the ham VERY thin--- thanx)

I'm in Bloomfield. Do you deliver? ...or should I pick up?

P.S.
hold the pickle
