I'm interested in what small applications, outside of the general frame of reference, that folks here use frequently and find useful. For instance, using OS 9 at work I use A-dock and it's top. Any offers?

Pardon the lack of links (too lazy today), but...
MacLorem - for highly configurable "greeking" in layouts
VueScan - pretty decent scan software (not for pre-press, though)
You Control - handy menu bar access to lots of apps & utilities
Print Window - brings back ability to print directories (OS 9 did it natively) with many options
img2icns - coverts any .jpg to an icon with one click
MileageSaver - allows me to track mileage deductions
Delocalizer - cleans out unwanted language kits to save disk space
Carbon Copy Cloner - back-up and system cloning utility
QuickTime Broadcaster - records audio & video from iSight
PopChar X - menu bar tool for finding/inputing special characters from any font to any app

Some get used almost daily, others only once in a while.

Namely - instant app launcher, type in the unique 2-3 characters to find the one you want
iKey - for all the other useful keystroke shortcuts
ProcessWizard - for upping (well, downing, really) the nice value on an app when it needs a little oomph
PTHPasteBoard free multiple clipboards
iClock for multiple timezone clocks, popup calendar, and a decent menubar clock
BuddyPop popup address book without the fiddle of widgets
OpenTerminal - opens terminal at the folder I'm in in Finder

...and many more....

- padmavyuha

[color:purple]A lopsided man runs best along the little side-hills of success
- Frank Moore Colby
