I have been out of town for several days. When I get home and turn my computer on, spotlight is giving me grief.<br><br>If I click on it's icon or if I enter it's hot key, the icon simply blinks, but no search field opens up. I have no idea what to do. Any ideas?<br><br>We are what we repeatedly do. -Aristotle

Okay, so I opened up my son's user to see if the the problem was trans-User and his spotlight seems to work just fine. Then when I go back to my User, spotlight is working again, like my son's User somehow reminded spotlight what it's supposed to do...<br><br>Anyway, I am still open to suggestions as to what caused this and as to what I can do to fix/prevent it occuring again.<br><br>We are what we repeatedly do. -Aristotle
