We'll have to borrow, no doubt about that, George, but my wife and I have been doing the stupid thing, which is saving for college expenses, and the result is that we probably won't qualify for grants or scholarships or anything like that. And since you live in PA you know that for a public school (or quasi-public or whatever it is) PSU is not cheap--the most expensive of the Big Ten schools for in-state tuition, in fact. So we'll just suck it up and borrow what we need. I honestly don't mind it, to tell the truth. That's a lot of money, don't get me wrong--but don't people borrow that much and more for cars all the time? In my book, four years of college is worth a lot more than any car I've ever seen. Well, maybe not any car, but most

____________________________________________________
Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive,
But to be young was very heaven!

A college education is now the second most expensive investment - behind buying a home.

The communist side of me thinks there is something wrong with that.

Congrats on his getting accepted.

I think what George was asking is...why doesn't your son get the loan?

I wish my parents would have paid for college for me, but with 8 kids that's kinda hard. I don't regret it though....I have learned a lot out in the world since high school.
