The card slot worked great for my digital camera. I have a Coolpix. I'd misplaced the camera-computer cable and needed to download some pics. I remembered about the card slot in my monitor. Voila!!

Yes sir. 9 slots according to the specs (can tell you for certain when I get home, although I have the previous model - 2405- and it might be different. Only difference with the 07 IIRC is the stand that holds the screen). I was making use of Memory Stick, and now actually I use 'Memory Stick DUO Pro' with my new camera - the LCD didn't accept it, but the card itself came with an adapter which fit nicely into the old memory stick slot...

Insert the card, and it mounts right on the desktop, launches iPhoto, etc.. Good stuff.

I feel your pain about feeling "dirty". If it helps you can buy some black tape and cover up "DELL" on the front of the monitor.

I simply don't allow my eyes to gaze that low. It helps.

You brought my attention to something, contrast.. Apple was 700:1 and Dell 1000:1..

When I edit photos to deliver to customers or post on the web, I do that using my 20" iMac. But when the same photo is displayed on older monitors, it appears faded.. Hmmm, interesting, thanks...

www.waleedsgallery.biz
Well, I missed out on this deal but took advantage of the current 15% off plus a 10% Dell coupon I bought off of eBay (expires tonight) so my grand total with tax is $654 plus $4 for the eBay coupon. Looking forward to hooking this baby up.
